European Equities

Stock selection is based on our own fundamental equity research – a result of our active and focused investment style.

We follow an active and focused investment style. With great conviction we invest in a few, carefully selected companies.

Based on a “top-down” analysis we follow a sector approach combined with a stock selection which also considers small and mid sized companies.

Basis for all decisions is our own fundamental equity research with emphasis on qualitative criteria. Of vital and particular importance in our decision making process is the personal ongoing dialog to members of the companies’ top management. Therefore, the qualitative company analysis is key for our evaluations. In addition, our research of European equities is extended by a comparison to their international peers and respective sectors.

A European Small & Mid Cap portfolio typically consists of approx. of 30-50 positions. Our portfolios may substantially deviate to an index development and are designed for an investment horizon of 3-5 years.
